Rowan requested to have a blog entry of his own. Since he’s not quite ready to type it himself and wasn’t sure what he wanted to talk about, we chose an interview style. Enjoy, and stay tuned for Ian and Torren to post in the future!
What is your favorite thing about boat life?
R: Fishing and swimming. I like them cause they’re very fun, like who doesn’t like fishing and swimming?
What’s your least favorite thing about boat life?
R: Dishes. Dishes are not fun because I just don’t like getting dirty and wet at the same time.
What is the best place we have gone so far?
R: Washing machine. The washing machine is very fun because every once in a while there is a whirlpool there which you can constantly ride and it’s very fun.
Is there anywhere we’ve gone you would not like to go back to?
R: No
What is it like sharing a room with Ian?
R: Bad because we always get in fights. I just don’t very much like it. I do like being able to play legos with Ian much more easily.
How do you feel about boat school?
R: Good in some ways, but bad in some ways. The good ways are science, reading, storytelling basket, and art. The bad ways are all of the other subjects, especially math.
How do you feel about spending so much time with your family?
R: Very good. There’s just so many fun things to do with a family. Like most of the family members are all fun, except Torren, unless he plays Pokémon with me. We also went to this very cool diving place. It had thousands of fish. It’s called the aquarium. We also saw a barracuda. And we also saw a lot of brain coral.
What advice would you give another kid whose parents want to move onto a boat?
R: Don’t go in the water unless you want to get very cold. Unless it’s someplace like the Bahamas.
What is your favorite food we eat on the boat?
R: I like mac and cheese and also pizza, and tortillas specifically my mom makes, and the pasta we made in the insta pot was also really good.
Is there anything else you want to add to your first blog post?
R: And also I want to say hi to my friends, Eric and Louie.
